    Kern County SHRM Members,

Kern County SHRM is heading back to CAPK, and we want YOU there with us! This will be our second time this year volunteering with the incredible CAPK Food Bank for a Day of Giving Back that's all about energy, teamwork, and heart.

CAPK distributes more than 2 million pounds of food every month to our neighbors across Kern County. Their mission is huge, and when groups like ours show up, it truly moves the needle in the fight against food insecurity.

On Tuesday, August 25th, from 8:30–11:30am, we'll be supporting their Senior Food Box Program, building boxes that go straight to seniors who rely on these meals. It's hands-on, high-impact, and honestly a lot of fun when we do it together.

Let's show up big for our community once again and make this volunteer day unforgettable.

      The Social Capital Advantage:

Strengthen Your Presence to Move People and Decisions

      Presented by:

      Sabine Gedeon, ICF-PCC,

      CEO | Gedeon Enterprises, LLC

Sabine Gedeon is a transformational speaker and executive advisor with 20 years of experience supporting leaders, founders, and professionals through growth and change. She helps organizations rethink how growth happens through strategic relationships, positioning, and decision-making. Sabine holds a Master’s in Management & Organizational Leadership, is an ICF PCC, and is the author of Transformed: The Journey to Becoming.

Most ambitious leaders were taught the same formula: work hard, deliver results, and the right people will notice. But leadership growth and organizational impact do not happen through effort alone. They happen through visibility, trust, context, and strategic relationships. This session introduces the Social Capital Method™, a practical framework for building visibility, strengthening influence, and activating the relationships that help people and ideas gain traction inside organizations.

Participants will learn how to build relationships that create advocacy and access, position ideas and contributions in ways that connect to organizational priorities, and strengthen the trust required to move decisions forward.

      Learning outcomes

      • Recognize where performance and expertise alone are limiting visibility, access, and influence inside the organization
      • Identify the key relationships that create advocacy, sponsorship, and opportunity, and assess where those relationships are missing or underdeveloped
      • Apply the Social Capital Method™ to build the presence, relational capital, and stakeholder alignment that move careers and ideas forward
      • Position ideas and contributions in ways that connect to organizational priorities so that influence travels beyond the immediate team or function
