Holiday Networking Breakfast & HR Awards
We are excited to announce the return of the Kern County SHRM HR Awards, taking place during our Holiday Networking Breakfast event on December 10th. This program honors excellence and outstanding service in the Human Resources profession within our community.
We invite you to nominate deserving HR professionals in one of the following categories:
- Human Resources Professional of the Year Award: Honors a Kern County SHRM member who exemplifies the values of our profession through accomplishments, leadership, and contributions that make a meaningful impact.
- Human Resources Volunteer Service Award: Recognizes a Kern County SHRM member who selflessly gives their time, talents, and dedication to their community, while promoting a positive image of the HR profession.
- Human Resources Lifetime Achievement Award: Celebrates an individual who has dedicated more than 20 years to advancing the HR profession, leaving a lasting impact on the Kern County community and beyond.
Nominations must be submitted by 10/31/2025 at 5:00 PM. Voting will take place 11/3/2025 - 11/7/2025. Voting closes at 5:00 PM. Winners will be announced at the Holiday Networking Breakfast.

This special event will be a time to connect with peers, close out the year together, and celebrate the exciting year to come.

*Self-nominations are permitted.
Due to Double Tree Hotel Meal Policy, registration for members and nonmembers will be open until six days before the event start date. Any registration after, will be charged as a late registration and will not receive a meal. To avoid paying extra fees, please register by Thursday before the event.
