SB 553 now requires nearly all employers in California to establish a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP), which requires evaluating and correcting workplace violence hazards, training employees and supervisors on workplace violence matters, creating and maintaining a violent incident log, and maintaining records of all training and violent workplace incident.

This webinar is designed to delve into the intricacies of SB 553, offering guidance on assessing unsafe conditions, reporting procedures, training initiatives, and the thorough investigation of workplace violence occurrences. Additionally, it will explore the fundamental components necessary for crafting a compliant Workplace Violence Prevention Plan.

Jay Rosenlieb will lead an extensive discussion on the considerable responsibility now placed on employers to adhere to the provisions of SB 553.
